Johnny White is locked in a London garret, nearing the end of his new Rollercoaster Project album, due out on Dreamboat later in 2010. To tide fans over until then, we are releasing the fabulous Drone 1 E.P. on CD with special milky white artwork. This special edition only available through the Dreamboat store, and is a limited edition of 30, so when they are gone, they are gone.

“Three instrumental tracks of fuzz-electronics and sublime silicone symphonies.” — Angry Ape

  1. Drone 1 (5:04)
    MP3/Video
  2. Algorar (4:25)
  3. Drone 1 (Dave Collingwood Remix) (8:00)

You can watch the video by Jo Coates on this website and stream all three tracks at Bleep.

Described as “psychopathic electronica” by NME, the title track is an obnoxiously beautiful piece of experimental electronic music, while the B-side is influenced by doom metal. The single also features a remix of the title track by Dave Collingwood, drummer for Gravenhurst (Warp).

The CD is available to buy now. It features beautifully printed artwork from Owen Jones's classic The Grammar of Ornament (pictured right, more pictures on our Flickr account).

You can also buy tracks online from Bleep or iTunes.
