Their second album, and their first on Dreamboat, Wriggle out the Restless is born out This Is The Kit's new, slower way of working. Gestated over a long period the album has drawn on This Is The Kit’s many musical friends (Rozi Plain and Francois of the Fence Collective, Jim Barr of Portishead and The Lift Men on Twisted Nerve) to fill out their delicate music into a full, robust sound. “The aim was to have fun playing with people who’s work I really like” says Kate “the more you exchange and share with people the better things get and the more you learn.”

Kate sings, plays guitar, banjo, trumpet and plays percussion. Her long time collaborator and regular live companion Jesse Vernon produced the album and contributes guitars, percussion, violin and percussion. Other credits include Jim Barr on bass, Francois Marry on organ, trumpet and piano and Rozi Plain on guitar, banjo and clarinet.
