Thunder and Wonder by Azalea City Penis Club

Simon Grant operating effects pedals

In the summer of 2005, Azalea City Penis Club entered the studio to begin work on their debut album. The first track from those sessions is now available to download. We at Dreamboat Records think the bit at 3:26 is what it must sound like when you murder someone, and that can only be a good thing, right?.

Dangerous Dave Collingwood, ACPC’s drummer has also made available the first Dreamboat Records video. It’s That Loud Bit, You Cockend is an unflinching depiction of ACPC’s descent into speedballs, nitrous oxide and effects pedals during the recording of this song. Good times.

The Rollercoaster Project

Back in September, when the days were longer than the nights, Dreamboat Records released The Rollercoaster Project’s debut album Hatefield.

You can download three-eighths of Hatefield or you can buy the album for £5. But—as if that wasn’t enough—The Rollercoaster Project has made available two more MP3s to play on your walking music device.

The first is “Drone 1”, which is taken from a forthcoming E.P. This E.P. is a long way off, but we thought this track is so fantastic we couldn’t wait to share it with you. Run, don’t walk, to the download.

The second is a remix of Cat Power’s “Peking Saint”. Cat Power is great, and so is the original version of this song. We humbly submit the Rollercoaster Project remix for your aural analysis.
