New on Dreamboat: Whalebone Polly!

Taproot and Sill

We’re delighted to announce that Kate Stables and Rachel Dadd, aka Whalebone Polly, have joined forces with Dreamboat to release their long awaited E.P. Taproot and Sill on limited edition 10″ brown vinyl.

Following a two year break in which they worked on other projects (Kate with This is the Kit, Rachel on here solo work and with The Hand), they are now ready to release the follow up to their 2007 album Recordings with the Window Open.

You can download a free MP3, look at the beautiful artwork designed by the band, and pre-order the 10″ here. And, in a first for Dreamboat Records, if you buy the vinyl you also get a download code for the MP3s and two exclusive bonus tracks including a remix by the Rollercoaster Project.

Update: Whalebone Polly will be on tour throughout September. Be sure to catch them if they are playing near you!

Summer 2009 update

Summer Sunset

Here’s a quick Dreamboat summer update before we announce an exciting new addition to the Dreamboat Records roster later in August:

Robin Allender is as busy as ever playing guitar for Yann Tiersen on their world tour. The Gala Band have just played Glastonbury and will be playing the show at Colston Hall’s grand re-opening night in Bristol as a two piece Saturday 15th September. And finally, The Rollercoaster Project will release his fantastic new album “Revenge” next month with our friends at Absolutely Kosher Records.
