Please welcome The Quebe Sisters Band and their debut UK release, Timeless, which is available for pre-order now on Dreamboat Records.
From Fort Worth, The Quebe Sisters are Grace, Sophia and Hulda Quebe (pronounced kway-bee). The sisters have blown a warm Texan wind through traditional country songs, bringing something undeniably modern to traditional classics. Their ability to lovingly subvert their genre that stands them apart as something special and interesting. But this is no alt-country, it’s the real deal. So while the sun is still out (in the UK), put this on, get out in the garden and soak up the Southern sounds.
The Quebe Sisters will be touring England from 25 July to 8 August.

Johnny White is locked in a London garret, nearing the end of his new Rollercoaster Project album, due out on Dreamboat later in 2010. To tide fans over until then, we are releasing 2007′s fabulous Drone 1 E.P. on CD with special edition white artwork. This release is only available through the Dreamboat store, and is a limited edition of 30, so when they are gone, they are gone. If you haven’t heard the E.P., make sure to check out the free MP3 and video.

From Pitchfork:
Many bands’ touring plans were slightly deterred or altogether cancelled after ash from eruptions under Iceland’s Eyjafjallajökull glacier spread across Europe and grounded air traffic. One of those bands was Brooklyn synth-rockers Bear in Heaven, who were stuck in a Madrid airport while trying to make it over to London. Instead of getting down in the mouth, though, the guys turned volcanic lemons into ash-filled lemonade, placing a camera on the baggage claim belt and creating this hypnotic video for the aptly-named “Dust Cloud”, from last year’s BNM’d Beast Rest Forth Mouth.
Beast Rest Forth Mouth is available on Vinyl+MP3 and CD direct from Dreamboat or from your local record store.
